3. Aber das Volk sprach: Du sollst nicht in den Krieg ziehen! Denn wenn wir fliehen, so wird man sich nicht um uns kümmern, ob auch die Hälfte von uns umkäme; du aber bist [so viel wert] wie zehntausend von uns. So ist es nun besser, daß du uns von der Stadt aus zu Hilfe kommst.
