16. da stand das Wasser, das von oben herabkam, aufgerichtet wie ein Damm, und schwellte an, sehr weit hinauf bei der Stadt Adam, die zur Seite von Zartan liegt; aber das Wasser, welches zum Meer der Ebene hinabfloß, zum Salzmeer, nahm ab und zerfloß. Also ging das Volk hinüber vor Jericho.
