24. Als nun Pilatus sah, daß er nichts ausrichtete, sondern daß vielmehr ein Aufruhr entstand, nahm er Wasser und wusch sich vor dem Volk die Hände und sprach: Ich bin unschuldig an dem Blut dieses Gerechten; sehet ihr zu!
