14. Und hernach baute er die äußere Mauer der Stadt Davids, westlich gegen den Gihon hin, im Tale, und bis zum Eingang des Fischtores, und umgab den Ophel mit einer Mauer und machte sie sehr hoch. Und er legte Kriegsoberste in alle festen Städte in Juda.
