12. Da ging David hin und nahm von den Bürgern von Jabes-Gilead die Gebeine Sauls und die Gebeine seines Sohnes Jonathan, welche sie von dem Marktplatze zu Beth-Schan heimlich weggenommen, wo die Philister sie aufgehängt hatten an dem Tage, da die Philister Saul schlugen auf dem Gilboa.
