14. Da sprachen sein Weib Seresch und alle seine Freunde zu ihm: Man richte einen Baum her, fünfzig Ellen hoch; und am Morgen sage dem König, daß man Mordokai daran hänge. Dann gehe mit dem König fröhlich zum Mahle! Und das Wort dünkte Haman gut, und er ließ den Baum herrichten.
