29. Und den König von Ai ließ er an einen Baum hängen bis zur Abendzeit; und beim Untergang der Sonne gebot Josua, und sie nahmen seinen Leichnam von dem Baume herab und warfen ihn an den Eingang des Stadttores und errichteten einen großen Steinhaufen über ihm, der bis auf diesen Tag da ist.
