24. Als aber Pilatus sah, daß er nichts ausrichtete, sondern vielmehr ein Tumult entstand, nahm er Wasser, wusch seine Hände vor der Volksmenge und sprach: Ich bin schuldlos an dem Blute dieses Gerechten; sehet ihr zu.
