4. welcher widersteht und sich selbst erhöht über (O. gegen) alles, was Gott heißt oder ein Gegenstand der Verehrung ist, (O. was Gott oder Gegenstand der Verehrung heißt) so daß er sich in den Tempel (das Heiligtum; vergl. die Anm. zu Mat. 4,5) Gottes setzt und sich selbst darstellt, daß er Gott sei.
