45. Und der Pharao gab Joseph den Namen: Zaphnath-Pahneach, (Wahrsch. ein entstelltes ägypt. Wort, welches bedeutet: Retter der Welt od. Erhalter des Lebens) und gab ihm Asnath, die Tochter Potipheras, des Priesters von On, (Ägyptisch: An, der Name der Stadt Heliopolis d. h. Sonnenstadt), die unweit des heutigen Kairo lag. Vergl. Jer. 43. 13) zum Weibe. Und Joseph zog aus in das Land Ägypten.
