4. Durch Glauben brachte Abel Gott ein vorzüglicheres Opfer (Eig. Schlachtopfer) dar als Kain, durch welches (O. welchen, d. h. Glauben) er Zeugnis erlangte, daß er gerecht war, indem Gott Zeugnis gab zu seinen Gaben; und durch diesen, (O. dieses) obgleich er gestorben ist, redet er noch.
