8. Den Tod verschlingt er auf ewig; (And. üb.: "in Sieg", der Bedeutung gemäß, welche das hebr. Wort im Aramäischen hat) und der Herr, Jehova, wird die Tränen abwischen von jedem Angesicht, und die Schmach seines Volkes wird er hinwegtun von der ganzen Erde. Denn Jehova hat geredet.
