28. An diesem Tag nahm Josua auch Makkeda ein und schlug es mit der Schärfe des Schwertes samt seinem König und vollstreckte an ihnen und an allen Seelen, die darin waren, den Bann; und er ließ keinen übrigbleiben, der entkommen wäre; und er machte es mit dem König von Makkeda ebenso, wie er es mit dem König von Jericho gemacht hatte.
