14. Als aber der König von Ai dies sah, da eilten die Männer der Stadt und machten sich früh auf und zogen heraus, um gegen Israel zu kämpfen, der König und sein ganzes Volk, an den bestimmten Ort vor der Arava; denn er wußte nicht, daß ein Hinterhalt gelegt war hinter der Stadt.
