49. Die Besatzung der Burg von Jerusalem war von jeder Verbindung mit dem Land abgeschnitten; sie konnten weder etwas kaufen noch etwas verkaufen und hatten fast nichts mehr zu essen; eine beträchtliche Anzahl von ihnen kam durch den Hunger um.
