3. Als die Einwohner von Aschdod aber am nächsten Morgen aufstanden, war Dagon vornüber gefallen und lag vor der Lade des Herrn mit dem Gesicht auf dem Boden. Sie nahmen Dagon und stellten ihn wieder an seinen Platz.
