17. Sanherib schrieb auch einen Brief, in dem er den Herrn, den Gott Israels, verhöhnte. Er schrieb darin über ihn: Wie die Götter der Völker in anderen Ländern ihr Volk nicht aus meiner Hand gerettet haben, so wird auch der Gott Hiskijas sein Volk nicht aus meiner Hand retten.
