31. So war es auch, als die babylonischen Obersten ihre Unterhändler zu ihm sandten, um Auskunft über das Zeichen zu erlangen, das im Land erschienen war. Da überließ ihn Gott sich selbst, um zu erproben, wie er wirklich gesinnt war.
