33. Hiskija entschlief zu seinen Vätern, und man begrub ihn beim Aufgang zu den Gräbern der Nachkommen Davids. Bei seinem Tod erwiesen ihm ganz Juda und die Einwohner Jerusalems die Ehre. Sein Sohn Manasse wurde König an seiner Stelle.
