5. Auch unternahm der König Anstrengungen, um die ganze Mauer auszubessern, in der Risse entstanden waren. Er erhöhte die Türme, baute draußen die andere Mauer, befestigte den Millo in der Davidstadt und ließ viele Wurfspieße und Schilde anfertigen.
