20. Da zog David nach Baal-Perazim. Dort schlug er die Philister und sagte: Der Herr hat die Reihen meiner Feinde vor meinen Augen durchbrochen, wie Wasser (einen Damm) durchbricht. Deshalb nennt man jenen Ort Baal-Perazim (Herr der Durchbrüche).
