26. denn (der Götze) muß von ihnen aufgestellt werden, damit er nicht zu Boden fällt. Stellt man ihn aufrecht hin, so kann er sich selbst nicht bewegen; steht er schief, kann er sich nicht aufrichten. Vielmehr setzt man ihnen die Gaben vor wie den Toten.
