40. Ihrer Ehre schaden die Chaldäer sogar selbst. Sehen sie nämlich einen Stummen, der nicht sprechen kann, so bringen sie ihn zu Bel und bitten, daß er die Sprache erhalte, als ob Bel ihn auch nur wahrnehmen könnte.
