5. Aber die chaldäischen Truppen setzten ihnen nach und holten Zidkija in den Niederungen von Jericho ein. Sie nahmen ihn gefangen, brachten ihn vor Nebukadnezzar, den König von Babel, nach Ribla in der Landschaft Hamat, und dieser sprach das Urteil über ihn.
