23. Weil ihr Rauchopfer dargebracht und gegen den Herrn gesündigt habt, weil ihr auf die Stimme des Herrn nicht gehört und euch nicht nach seiner Weisung, seinen Gesetzen und Mahnungen gerichtet habt, darum hat euch dieses Unheil getroffen, wie es heute noch besteht.
