37. Sie nahmen die Stadt ein und erschlugen [ihren König und] alles, was in ihr lebte, ebenso die Einwohner aller ihrer Tochterstädte, mit scharfem Schwert; niemand ließ er entkommen, genau so, wie er es mit Eglon gemacht hatte. Er weihte die Stadt und alles, was in ihr lebte, dem Untergang.
