39. Er eroberte die Stadt und ihre (Tochter)städte, nahm ihren König gefangen, erschlug ihre Einwohner mit scharfem Schwert und weihte alles, was in ihr lebte, dem Untergang; niemand ließ er entkommen. Wie er es mit Hebron und mit Libna und seinem König gemacht hatte, so machte er es auch mit Debir und seinem König.
