1. Josua, der Sohn Nuns, schickte von Schittim heimlich zwei Kundschafter aus und befahl ihnen: Geht, erkundet das Land, besonders die Stadt Jericho! Sie brachen auf und kamen zu dem Haus einer Dirne namens Rahab; dort wollten sie übernachten.
