24. Als die Israeliten sämtliche Bewohner von Ai, die ihnen nachgejagt waren, ohne Ausnahme auf freiem Feld und in der Wüste mit scharfem Schwert getötet hatten und alle gefallen waren, kehrte ganz Israel nach Ai zurück und machte auch dort alles mit scharfem Schwert nieder.
