22. Wenn dann ihre Väter oder Brüder kommen und bei uns Klage erheben, werden wir zu ihnen sagen: Vergebt ihnen; denn wir konnten im Kampf (gegen Jabesch) nicht für jeden eine Frau gewinnen, und ihr selbst konntet sie ihnen nicht geben; sonst hättet ihr euch schuldig gemacht.
