3. Judit hatte ihrer Dienerin befohlen, draußen vor ihrem Schlafgemach stehen zu bleiben und wie alle Tage zu warten, bis sie herauskäme; sie werde nämlich zum Gebet hinausgehen. Im gleichen Sinne hatte sie auch mit Bagoas gesprochen.
