10. Weil aber eine Hungersnot über das Land Kanaan hereinbrach, zogen sie nach Ägypten und blieben dort, solange sie Nahrung fanden. Dort wuchsen sie zu einer gewaltigen Menge heran, und ihr Volk war nicht mehr zu zählen.
