4. Der Schriftgelehrte Esra stand auf einer Kanzel aus Holz, die man eigens dafür errichtet hatte. Neben ihm standen rechts Mattitja, Schema, Anaja, Urija, Hilkija und Maaseja, und links Pedaja, Mischaël, Malkija, Haschum, Haschbaddana, Secharja und Meschullam.
