21. Doch es dauerte nicht einmal fünfzig Tage, da wurde Sanherib von seinen beiden Söhnen ermordet. Sie mußten in das Gebirge Ararat fliehen, aber dann wurde sein Sohn Asarhaddon an seiner Stelle König. Er machte Achikar, den Sohn meines Bruders Hanaël, zum Herrn über das ganze Rechnungswesen und die ganze Verwaltung seines Reiches.
