11. Da Jobs tre Venner hørte om al den Ulykke, der havde ramt ham, kom de hver fra sin Hjemstavn. Temaniten Elifaz, Sjuhiten Bildad og Na'amatiten Zofar, og aftalte at gå hen og vise ham deres Medfølelse og trøste ham.
