17. Men det skete efter tre dage, at Paulus sammenkaldte de førende mænd blandt jøderne dér i byen. Da de kom, sagde han til dem: "I mænd, brødre! Skønt jeg ikke har gjort noget, der kunne skade vort folk eller de fædrene skikke, kommer jeg dog som fange fra Jerusalem, hvor jeg blev overgivet i romernes hænder.
