16. Da Herodes nu så, at han var blevet narret af magerne, blev han meget vred og sendte [[folk]] afsted for at dræbe alle drengebørn i Betlehem og i alle bygderne deromkring, fra to år og nedefter, i overensstemmelse med den tid, han havde udspurgt sig til hos magerne.
