18. Ja Taavet läks välja neile vastu, rääkis ja ütles neile: 'Kui te tulete rahuga minu juurde mind aitama, siis mu süda on teiega ühes nõus. Aga kui te tulete mind reetma mu vaenlastele, kuigi mu kätel ei ole vägivalda, siis nähku seda meie vanemate Jumal ja karistagu!'
