16. Kui kogu Iisrael nägi, et kuningas ei võtnud neid kuulda, siis vastas rahvas kuningale, öeldes nõnda: 'Mis osa on meil Taavetis? Ei ole meil pärisosa Iisai pojas. Oma telkidesse, Iisrael! Karjata nüüd omaenese sugu, Taavet!' Ja Iisrael läks oma telkidesse.
