4. Kui kuningas kuulis jumalamehe sõnu, mis too hüüdis Peeteli altari poole, siis sirutas Jerobeam altari juurest oma käe välja ja hüüdis: 'Võtke ta kinni!' Aga käsi, mille ta sirutas tema poole, kuivetus ja ta ei suutnud seda tagasi tõmmata.
