38. Kui kuningas Demeetrios nüüd nägi, et tema maal on rahu ja keegi ei pane temale vastu, siis ta saatis ära kogu oma sõjaväe, igaühe tema kodupaika, välja arvatud võõrad palgasõdurid, keda ta oli värvanud paganate saartelt. Sellepärast vihkasid teda kõik need väed, kes olid tema isade ajast.
