29. 'Kuna maal on sageli olnud sõdu, siis on Siimon, Mattatiase poeg, Joojaribi poegade järglaste hulgast, ja tema vennad oma elu hädaohtu seadnud ning oma rahva vaenlastele vastu pannud, et nende pühamu ja Seadus jääksid püsima, ja nad on toonud oma rahvale suure kuulsuse.
