8. Kui Aasa kuulis neid sõnu ja prohvet Oodedi kuulutust, siis ta võttis julguse ja kõrvaldas jäledused kogu Juuda ja Benjamini maalt, samuti linnadest, mis ta Efraimi mäestikus oli vallutanud, ja uuendas Issanda altari, mis oli Issanda eeskoja ees.
