25. Ja kui nad tema kallalt ära läksid - nad jätsid ta maha raskesti haavatuna -, siis pidasid ta sulased tema vastu vandenõu preester Joojada poegade vere pärast; nad tapsid tema voodis ja nõnda ta suri. Ta maeti Taaveti linna, aga teda ei maetud kuningate hauda.
