12. Ja kuningas tõusis öösel üles ning ütles oma sulastele: 'Ma ütlen nüüd teile, mida süürlased meile teevad: nemad teavad, et meil on nälg, ja seepärast läksid nad leerist ära, et pugeda väljale peitu, ise mõeldes: Kui nad tulevad linnast välja, siis me võtame nad elusalt kinni ja läheme linna.'
