13. Sedasama on kirjeldatud ka Nehemja ülestähendustes ja mälestustes, nõnda nagu sedagi, kuidas ta asutas raamatukogu, kogudes kokku raamatud kuningate ja prohvetite kohta, samuti Taaveti kirjatööd ja kuningate kirjad annetuste kohta templi heaks.
