34. Menelaos kutsus seepärast Andronikose erajutule ja nõudis temalt, et ta tapaks Oniase. Andronikos läkski Oniase juurde. Siis, olles pettusega mõjutatud, andis ta vande all oma parema käe ja meelitas Oniase, olgugi et too kahtles, varjupaigast välja tulema ja tappis ta õigusevastaselt otsekohe.
