30. Kui ta siis hoopide all oli hinge heitmas, ohkas ta ja ütles: 'Issandal, kellel on püha tarkus, on teada, et mina, kuigi oleksin võinud pääseda surmast, kannatan nüüd hirmsaid valusid ihus, kui mind piitsutatakse, aga oma hinges ma talun seda hea meelega, sest ma kardan Jumalat.'
