11. Ja kui need tema juurde tulid, siis ta ütles neile: 'Kuulake ometi mind, Betuulia elanike ülemad! Sest ei ole õige teie sõna, mida te täna olete rahva ees rääkinud, kui olete lubanud vandega, mille olete andnud Jumalale, üteldes, et annate linna meie vaenlastele, kui Issand neil päevil ei pöördu meid aitama!
