1. Palveteekonna laul. Põhjatuist sügavusist hüüan ma sinu poole, Issand!
  
2. Issand, kuule mu häält, sinu kõrvad pangu tähele mu anumise häält!
  
3. Kui sina, Issand, peaksid meeles kõik pahateod, kes siis, Issand, püsiks?
  
4. Kuid sinu käes on andeksand, et sind kardetaks.
  
5. Ma ootan Issandat, mu hing ootab, ja ma loodan tema sõna peale.
  
6. Mu hing ootab Issandat enam kui valvurid hommikut, kui valvurid hommikut.
  
7. Iisrael, looda Issanda peale, sest Issanda juures on heldus ja tema juures on rohke lunastus!
  
8. Ja tema lunastab Iisraeli kõigist tema pahategudest.
